It's not only a great looking window, but also very robust and secure in design. Our exceptional quality windows are manufactured to within 3mm tollerance and are supplied to you in approximately 3 weeks. The Hybrid timber-aluminium system comes in three main styles - 'internally beaded casement', 'externally beaded casement' and 'tilt and turn'. It can also be used for curtain walling projects. Aluminium Exterior
The aluminium exterior gives a solid, hardwearing external face to the window that is extreemly durable. It's ideal for locations that are hard to reach for maintainence (e.g. flats) or where the time and cost of maintaninence are a burden (e.g. schools). The durability of the aliminium window exterior makes the Hybrid a popular choice in locations where weather conditions are particularly harsh, such as seaside locations. The aluminium comes in three standard colours; white, black or brown. Timber Interior
| At DortechDirect.co.uk we know that people are increasingly conscious of how their homes (and other buildings) look, which is why the Hyrbid window has a timber interior. It not only makes the windows much more traditional and decorative, but also helps to retain heat. |
The wooden windows are made from spruce exported from Germany. Spruce is the ideal tree for harvesting sustainable timber for building products as it grows very straight, (relatively) quickly and has few branches on the lower trunk (meaning fewer knots in the finished product). For every tree our supplier harvests, they plant another five. It’s a high quality window, especially when it comes to the environment:
