Illbruck ME316 Endurance Tape is a high-performance adhesive tape used in construction and industrial applications. It is designed to provide long-lasting, airtight seals for joints and gaps between various building materials, such as concrete, metal & wood, as well as with plastics, glass, and many other substrates commonly used in construction and industrial applications.
The tape is made from a durable, tear-resistant backing material that is coated with a specially formulated adhesive. This adhesive is designed to bond strongly to a wide range of surfaces, including uneven and rough surfaces, and provide excellent resistance to weathering, UV radiation and temperature changes.
Illbruck ME316 Endurance Tape is commonly used to seal joints and gaps in building envelopes, such as around windows and doors and in roofing and façade applications. It is also suitable for use in industrial settings, such as for sealing pipes and ducts.

Application Instructions for ME316 Endurance Tape:
- Surfaces must be dry and free of oil, grease, dust and other contaminants that could affect the adhesive's performance. Bonding to frozen surfaces is not possible.
- The substrate must offer sufficient load-bearing capacity. On porous or damp substrates or at low temperatures the use of primer is recommended.
- Detach the release paper and affix the tape on the centre of the overlap.
- Gradually peel off the release paper and adhere the tape whilst keeping it tension-free and wrinkle-free to the substrate.
- To consolidate the bond apply firm pressure manually. Use of a seam roller will further improve the adhesion in most applications.
To use Illbruck ME316 Endurance Tape, you may need the following tools:
- Utility knife or scissors to cut the tape to the desired length.
- Tape measure to measure the length of the tape required.
- Surface preparation tools, such as a wire brush, sandpaper, or cleaning solvent, to ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are clean and free from debris.
- Roller or press tool to ensure good adhesion and remove any air pockets or bubbles between the tape and the surface.
- Protective gear, such as gloves and eye protection, when working with the adhesive or during surface preparation.

If you wish to initiate a product return within 14 days, we gladly offer a refund as long as the item is returned in its original condition, including all packaging, tags, labels, and accessories. Kindly complete the provided return form and include it in the package you are sending back.
Please be aware that orders exceeding £100 excluding VAT are subject to a non-negotiable 40% restocking fee.

Consignments will be delivered using DPD, Evri, and Shipley, or direct from the supplier if stock is not readily available within our warehouse.
Please note that orders placed on a Friday after 12pm for next day delivery will be dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
Orders placed prior to a Bank Holiday will be delivered two days after the Bank Holiday.

Damages
By ordering with Dortech Direct you agree to inspect goods upon delivery. Damaged goods should be rejected. If you notice damage after the goods are delivered, you must report this to us within 48 hours of delivery. Dortech Direct does not accept damage liability for issues reported over 2 working days from the point of delivery.

Returns
If you need to return a product within 14 days, we are happy to refund the product provided it is returned, as sold, with all the original packaging, tags, labels and accessories.
Prior to returning any goods for any reason, please fill in the Returns Form and put it in the package that you are returning. Please note some orders are subject to up to a 35% restocking fee. This charge represents the administrative time and overheads to reprocess the stock.
