Q-Smart door handle is an electronic locking door handle that runs on rechargeable battery power. No wiring is necessary. This is a completely keyless entry system – no need for keys or PIN codes. Set up personal preferences for the whole household.

There are 3 ways that the handle can be operated:

  • Key-card
  • Fingerprint
  • Smartphone app

The first is a proximity fob that communicates with a reader built into the handle. The second method is fingerprint recognition with a the large reader pad, concealed under a hinged tab to keep it dry. And the third is via the app, allowing a user to use their mobile phone as a key.

You can allow visitors and guests, temporary access. The main user can send permanent or temporary timed keys to another  person via the mobile phone app. This eliminates the need for extra sets of keys being cut or leaving them in ‘safe’ place’! The app retains a log of operations, providing visitor management records.

No mains wiring is required as Q-Smart is battery powered. The handle warns the user when the batteries start to run low. If the battery is allowed to completely go flat, the handle can be plugged into a micro-USB power source. This gives the handle temporary powered until the batteries are replaced with fully charged batteries. We supply one power unitof these with each unit.

This smart lock could be the first step on the ‘smart home’ ladder. Home automation adds convenience, as well as value to your property. Q-Smart is fully tested at BSI and certified to ETSI TS103 645 (CYBER; Cyber Security for Consumer Internet of Things).

If you wish to initiate a product return within 14 days, we gladly offer a refund as long as the item is returned in its original condition, including all packaging, tags, labels, and accessories. Kindly complete the provided return form and include it in the package you are sending back.

Please be aware that orders exceeding £100 excluding VAT are subject to a non-negotiable 40% restocking fee.

Consignments will be delivered using DPD, Evri, and Shipley, or direct from the supplier if stock is not readily available within our warehouse.

Please note that orders placed on a Friday after 12pm for next day delivery will be dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

Orders placed prior to a Bank Holiday will be delivered two days after the Bank Holiday.

Damages

By ordering with Dortech Direct you agree to inspect goods upon delivery. Damaged goods should be rejected. If you notice damage after the goods are delivered, you must report this to us within 48 hours of delivery. Dortech Direct does not accept damage liability for issues reported over 2 working days from the point of delivery.

Returns

If you need to return a product within 14 days, we are happy to refund the product provided it is returned, as sold, with all the original packaging, tags, labels and accessories.

Prior to returning any goods for any reason, please fill in the Returns Form and put it in the package that you are returning. Please note some orders are subject to up to a 35% restocking fee.  This charge represents the administrative time and overheads to reprocess the stock.
