Feb® Brickclean is a fast-acting acid-based cleaning solution that dissolves mortar and cement stains, ingrained dirt and most paints on mineral surfaces such as brick, stone, concrete, paving slabs and earthenware.

Brickclean is a fast-acting acid-based cleaner and degreasing solution that dissolves mortar and cement stains, ingrained dirt and most paints on mineral surfaces such as brick, stone, concrete, paving slabs and earthenware.

Typical Uses

  • Cleaning of brickwork and floors where efficient cleaning is required.
  • Suitable for etching of concrete surfaces as preparation for epoxy resin screeds and toppings etc.

Instructions for Use - Preparation of Substrate

  • Remove any loosely adhering and excess contamination by physical abrasion with wire brush or scraper.
  • Care must be taken with delicate or soft substrates.

Mixing

To prevent discolouration or damage to substrates it is recommended that the optimum strength of solution be established by applying test areas starting at a 2:1 water/cleaner dilution.

Application

Areas of severe contamination may require more than one treatment using neat FEB BRICKCLEAN. The product should be applied by brush using a scrubbing action. Rinse off with plenty of water before drying out occurs. Where etching of concrete is required prior to application of epoxies, use undiluted, scrub well in with a stiff bristle brush, allow about 20 minutes to act (less in hot weather) and then liberally hose down to completely wash away all the solution. Allow to dry out prior to application of the epoxy

Coverage 

Up to 10m2 per litre, dependent upon porosity or contamination of substrate.

All deliveries are subject to stock and availability.

UK Mainland

**Next Day Cut Off – subject to cleared payments and passing of payment security checks by 11am.

Orders processed after 11am using the next day service option cannot be guaranteed.

All UK Mainland orders qualify for FREE delivery* when you spend over £150 ex VAT. *Please note certain items do not qualify for free delivery. 

Consignments will be delivered using DX, DPD, APC, Hermes or direct from the supplier if stock is not readily available within our warehouse.

Please note that orders placed on a Friday after 11AM for next day delivery will be dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

Orders placed prior to a Bank Holiday will be delivered two days after the Bank Holiday.

Damages

By ordering with Dortech Direct you agree to inspect goods upon delivery. Damaged goods should be rejected. If you notice damage after goods are delivered, you must report this to us within 48 hours of delivery. Dortech Direct does not accept damage liability for issues reported over 2 working days from the point of delivery.

You can report damage by sending your order details and images of any issues to sales@dortechdirect.co.uk

Returns

If you need to return a product within 14 days, we are happy to refund the product provided it is returned, as sold, with all the original packaging, tags, labels and accessories.

Prior to returning any goods for any reason, please fill in the Returns Form and put it in your package that you are returning. 

 

FAQ

Is there a re-stocking fee?

Please note some orders are subject to up to a 35% restocking fee. While every effort will be made to avoid this charge in some cases it is un-avoidable.This charge represents the administrative time and overheads to reprocess the stock. 

I've sent my package, how long will the refund take?

We aim to make the returns process as quick as possible, but please allow up to 14 days for your refund to be processed. If you haven't received any information after this time, please get in touch with one of our team.
