It combines good initial grab to a wide variety of common construction substrates with high bond strength and excellent long-term flexibility, making it the trusted choice for EPDM membrane bonding on both factory and site applications.

Recommended for bonding Arbo EPDM membrane and other membranes including butyl sheeting to aluminium (polyester powder coated and other finishes), galvanised finishes, PVCu and mineral boards. Each box contains 20 x 600ml foil sachets with polyethylene nozzles included.

1. What is Arbo EPDM Membrane Adhesive used for?
Arbo Membrane Adhesive is a professional EPDM membrane bonding adhesive used for adhering EPDM rubber membranes and butyl sheeting to aluminium, PVCu, galvanised steel and mineral board substrates in window, curtain walling and facade applications.

2. How many foils are in the box?
Each box contains 20 x 600ml foil sachets with polyethylene nozzles included, making it ideal for contractors and glaziers needing a reliable bulk supply of EPDM adhesive for site use.

3. Is Arbo Membrane Adhesive solvent free?
Yes. Arbo Membrane Adhesive is a solvent free adhesive based on modified polymer technology, making it safe for use on sensitive substrates and in enclosed environments without fume concerns.

4. What is the coverage rate per foil?
Typically one 600ml foil provides approximately 6 linear metres of seal at 10mm wide and 10mm deep. Coverage may increase when the paste is flattened during membrane application.

5. Does Arbo Membrane Adhesive require a primer?
For non-porous substrates such as aluminium and PVCu, no primer is generally required. For porous substrates, the Arbo AFS Primer or Arbo 2650 Primer is recommended for optimum adhesion.

6. At what temperature can Arbo Membrane Adhesive be applied?
Arbo Membrane Adhesive should not be applied at temperatures below 5 degrees C or where relative humidity is below 40%, ensuring a reliable cure and consistent bond strength on site.

Damages

By ordering with Dortech Direct you agree to inspect goods upon delivery. Damaged goods should be rejected. If you notice damage after the goods are delivered, you must report this to us within 48 hours of delivery. Dortech Direct does not accept damage liability for issues reported over 2 working days from the point of delivery.
