Metolux Metoset Concrete Crack Repair

Metoset is a 2 part ready to use concrete repair resin which is used for repairing cracks and sealing joints in heavy applications involving cement. The formula is delivered through a special mizing nozzle directly into the repair area. This reduces mess and waste as well as being more efficient.

Metoset is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It can also be applied to slightly damp surfaces without any preparations.

Must be used with a high-quality tooling stick

Excellent for render repairs once you get your timing right which is essential. Prepare the areas fully before you open a tube. Work on small areas at a time and 'finish it appropriately' when starting to cure i.e. after only a couple of minutes. I used a stiff brush to blend it in perfectly to my existing render. You need to clean out the cracks with an angle grinder first so you can inject the resin directly. If you wait too long or over fill the repairs the only thing that will 'sand it' is an angle grinder with a carbide disk. Any longer than 3 mins without use the nozzle will set like rock. You do get 2 nozzles per tube for this reason.

Used to repair cracks in concrete drive before painting. Used with 300ml rotating caulking gun (A1097). Easy to use, extrudes slowly enough to ensure complete filling of deeper cracks. Product does set quickly so useful to have a second person following to smooth the product and obtain smooth, flat finish if long lengths are being filled. No problem painting over the resin (used a driveway paint). Swift dispatch and receipt of order - would use this product and Dortech again.

Used to fill in a ** between 2 cast stone door arches on a follie.
Comes out the tube really easy using standard silicone **. Dries unbelievably hard. So far so good. Great product.

This is a first class product. It is supplied with two application tubes per cartridge however the spare ones were not required as the areas to receive the product were all prepared beforehand,
The resin is very easy to work with, cracks in concrete filled very easily and smoothed off, I was concerned because the slab being worked on had areas which had irregular holes quite deep, up to 50 mm and were on the side however the resin mix constituency meant there was no movement of the resin and unlike unlike some resins which go off quickly I found we had time to work the material. I strongly recommend this product for use on concrete slabs, you will not be disappointed.

Cracks in old render were causing damp to soak through the (old) solid walls. Cut out/widened the cracks with an angle grinder and then refilled with this wonderful product.
My only mistake was not to smooth more before it cured - once it sets, it sets rock hard - but on the plus side in 4 hours I’d done the whole job including re-painting the render. 4 months later and it’s done the job - no more damp.
Highly recommended.
