  • Thermal and sound insulation
  • Works in all weather conditions
  • Strong structure
  • Adhering and sealing narrow joints

Application Areas:

  • Fixing insulation boards on facade and foundation.
  • Fixing interior wall boards.
  • Fixing windowsills and adhering construction blocks.
  • Reducing the impact of thermal bridges.

Adheres to:

  • Thermal insulation boards
  • Hard wool
  • Concrete
  • Wood
  • Plasterboards
  • Construction panels
  • Bricks
  • Blocks

Usage Instructions:

Surfaces must be clean from dust, loose particles and oil stains.

Moisten dry surfaces with water mist (only at temperatures above zero) to ensure a faster curing time and better end results.

Application with foam gun: Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Hold the foam can in an upright position with the valve up. Screw the can onto the gun. Hold the can upside down when extruding the foam. Foam output can be adjusted with a gun trigger and adjustment screw.

Do not aim the gun at people. Avoid screwing the can onto the gun with the valve upside down. Do not screw the gun onto the can. Do not bend or turn the can during screwing.

EasyGun applicator: Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Remove the cap. Hold the foam can in an upright position with the valve up. Place the applicator onto the valve, press slightly until the applicator is fixed. Hold the can upside down when extruding the foam. Foam output can be adjusted with the applicator trigger.

Insulation boards and interior design boards: Apply the foam adhesive to the board surface in a continuous flow, parallel with the sides of the board (3 to 4 cm from the edge) and one strip in the middle, parallel to the longest side (up to 25 cm between adhesive strips). After applying the foam adhesive onto the board wait 2 to 3 min and then press the board onto the wall. The board can be adjusted/straightened during the next 5 min. With one foam can 10 m2 of wall surface can be covered with insulation boards.

Windowsills: Before fixing the windowsill, make sure the base surface is levelled. Spacers must be used to support the windowsill; foam can only be used as an adhesive. Apply foam adhesive to the base surface 3 to 4 cm from the edge. Weights must be used to fix the windowsill until the foam adhesive is cured.

Construction blocks: Foam adhesive can be used for building non-load-bearing interior walls. The first row of blocks must be well levelled using mortar. Foam adhesive should be applied to both vertical and horizontal surfaces. Wait for a few minutes after applying the foam adhesive and then press the stone surfaces together. Foam adhesive can only be used in case even distribution of loads from block to block is ensured. Not suitable for distributing or carrying loads.

Tips:

  • Air temperature during use: -5°C to +30°C.
  • Always follow building design, building regulations, standards or other relevant guidelines concerning additional mechanical fastening when covering insulation boards with cladding materials.
  • Use of insulation support anchors is always recommended.
  • Consult with a sales agent, a dealer or an architect regarding compatibility with various stone-based materials and other technical issues.
  • Due to the wide variety of construction materials, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test.
  • Working at low temperatures, the foam can must be prewarmed to room temperature (around +20°C).
  • Use Penosil Foam Cleaner 929 to clean tools and surfaces from uncured foam.
  • Use Penosil Multipurpose Wipes 943 to clean hands and clothes from uncured foam.

Limitations:

  • Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), PTFE (Teflon®) or silicone surfaces.
  • Do not use at temperatures below -5 C.
  • Cured foam needs to be covered with a suitable material to protect against UV rays.
  • Not recommended for bituminous surfaces.
  • Windowsills must have additional constructional support, foam can only be used as an adhesive.
