Pyrotape is an advanced intumescent tape designed to provide a minimum of 60 minutes of fire protection for timber and metal-based glazed doors and screens. This innovative tape is made from a compressible material that retains its density and tensile strength even when exposed to high temperatures, ensuring reliable performance during fire incidents.

1. Exceptional Fire Protection: Pyrotape offers at least 60 minutes of fire resistance, with proven integrity of up to 245 minutes in glazed steel door sets. This makes it a robust solution for critical fire safety applications.

3. Compression and Noise Reduction: Pyrotape provides 50% compression, which effectively eliminates glass rattle, enhancing the stability and integrity of glazed assemblies.

4. Easy Installation: The unique open self-adhesive backing simplifies installation by eliminating the need to remove awkward backing paper, making the application process straightforward and efficient.

5. Dry Glazed System: Pyrotape is part of a dry glazed system, which means there is no need for cleaning down after installation, reducing installation time and effort.

6. Aesthetic Options: Available in white and black finishes, Pyrotape can match various design preferences and requirements.

7. Versatile Compatibility: The tape has been tested with numerous glass types as per Certifire/fire test evidence, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of glazing solutions.

  • 3mm thickness supplied in 22m coils
  • 4mm thickness supplied in 16m coils
  • 5mm and 6mm thicknesses supplied in 10m coils

All UK Mainland orders qualify for FREE when you spend £75 ex vat or more*. *Please note certain items do not qualify for free delivery. 

Consignments will be delivered using DPD, Evri, and Shipley, or direct from the supplier if stock is not readily available within our warehouse.

Large heavy items may be subject to pallet charges - you will be notified by our customer care team.

Damages

By ordering with Dortech Direct you agree to inspect goods upon delivery. Damaged goods should be rejected. If you notice damage after the goods are delivered, you must report this to us within 48 hours of delivery. Dortech Direct does not accept damage liability for issues reported over 2 working days from the point of delivery.

Returns

If you wish to initiate a product return within 14 days, we gladly offer a refund as long as the item is returned in its original condition, including all packaging, tags, labels, and accessories. Kindly complete the provided return form and include it in the package you are sending back.

Ensure that you diligently fill out all the necessary fields on the Returns Form.

Please be aware that orders exceeding £100 excluding VAT are subject to a non-negotiable 40% restocking fee. This charge represents the administrative time and overheads to reprocess the stock.
