Rapid PUR Structural Adhesive for High-Strength Bonded Connections

Features:

• Proven adhesive properties.
• Tested stress group D4 in accordance with DIN EN 204 by ift Rosenheim.
• Meets the window construction requirement according to DIN EN 14257 (WATT 91).
• Adheres to a wide variety of materials.
• Can subsequently be powder-coated (200°C/30 min).
• Compatible with natural stone.
• Paste-like, thixotropic: Does not run or drip off, allowing use in vertical applications.
• Mildly foaming: Well suited for use on slightly uneven surfaces.
• High resistance (short-term against diluted acids, alkalis, and solvents).
• Can be sanded and painted over.
• Silicone- and solvent-free.

Notice:

• The viscosity of 1-C-PUR adhesives when processed at +15°C is approximately double that when used at +25°C.
• Sunlight may discolor the adhesive but does not affect the adhesive strength.
• Pressing force: ≥0.015 N/mm² for surface bonding and ≥1 N/mm² for bonding solid wood to solid wood.
• For bonding gap thicknesses ≥ 2.0 mm, bonding, pressing, and hardening times are considerably longer; bonding gap thicknesses ≥ 3 mm are not possible.
• If moisture is expected to have an impact, bonding gaps/bonding surfaces must be sealed/protected with a suitable sealing compound.
• When bonding metals to absorbent materials, ensure suitable corrosion protection for the metal surface.
• Bonded workpieces should not be coated until after the adhesive is fully hardened.
• Zinc-plated sheets should be protected against permanent moisture influence.

Application Area:

• For structural temperature- and water-resistant adhesive joints in wooden window construction, staircase construction, and wooden house door sector.
• In aluminum window and door construction for bonding aluminum corner connectors into hollow profile chambers.

Instructions:

1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of grease.
2. Refer to the optimization table in the technical data sheet for pre-treatment.
3. Apply adhesive to one of the bonded parts as a bead or over the whole surface using the toothed spatula.
4. Adhesive application thickness should not exceed 3 mm.
5. Join parts within approximately 5 minutes; the adhesive is moisture-hardening.

Damages

By ordering with Dortech Direct you agree to inspect goods upon delivery. Damaged goods should be rejected. If you notice damage after the goods are delivered, you must report this to us within 48 hours of delivery. Dortech Direct does not accept damage liability for issues reported over 2 working days from the point of delivery.

Returns
